Prayers for World Peace - Meditation for Everyone
These classes provide you with tools for dealing with problems, such as stress and fear, and replacing them with positive minds, such as patience and love.
Taught by Resident Teacher Kadam Heather Rocklin, each class includes two guided meditations and a talk on how to use Buddha's teachings to find inner peace, chanted prayers, and an opportunity to ask questions. Although each class is taught as part of a series, it is also self-contained, so newcomers are always welcome.

(Please note - This class is a half hour later than our normal Sunday class on New Year's Day.)
January 8th - 22nd - Introduction to Buddhist Meditation
When the turbulence of distracting thoughts subside and our mind becomes still, a deep happiness and contentment naturally arises from within. In this class you will learn how to have a daily meditation practice. With Kadam Heather Rocklin
January 29th - February 19th - Letting go of Unhelpful Habits
We sometimes resort to uncontrolled, compulsive thoughts or behaviors. Using Buddha's wisdom, this series includes guided meditation and practical steps as methods to experience freedom from the most challenging of compulsive bad habits.
February 26th - March 25th - Healing Our Relationships
How to develop real happiness within you own mind and improve relationships with others. This series will explain how to heal ourselves and our relationships by learning to relate to ourselves and others in the best possible way.
